About the course

A Bachelor of Nursing graduate entry program is ideal for those who hold a nursing/science degree or diploma of nursing in their home country. This course prepares you for the exciting and challenging role of the Registered Nurse in a fast-track manner in 2 years.

Since you have completed a bachelor /diploma of nursing/science-based degree in your home country, universities generally provide you credits for prior learning because of which you can complete this nursing degree in 2 years.

If you have completed an approved Bachelor of Nursing (Graduate entry program), you can apply to the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia for registration as a Registered nurse.

Eligibility

  1. You should have completed HSC/ Year 12 (or equivalent).
  2. You have completed a bachelor’s qualification (AQF Level 7 or overseas equivalent) in a health-related discipline, or You have completed a two-year full-time (or part-time equivalent) post-secondary overseas Diploma equivalent to the Diploma in Nursing (AQF Level 5), and be or have been registered, licensed, or recognized in your own country as a registered or professional nurse during the past ten years.
  3. You must demonstrate that you meet the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia's (NMBA) English Language Skills (ELS) registration standard by providing evidence and declaring that English is your primary language or providing a valid ELS test result with the minimum scores of IELTS 7, PTE 65 or OET level B in each test component and overall, as well.
  4. Successful International Criminal history check, working with children check, and immunization requirements.
