The Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition Act allows mutual registration for nurses between Australia and New Zealand which means once you get your New Zealand nursing license, you can apply to AHPRA and secure your nursing registration in Australia.

If you have obtained your bachelor’s degree in the above-mentioned countries, then yes there are direct pathways.
If you have obtained your nursing bachelor’s degree in any other country and hold a valid nursing license in the United Kingdom/Ireland/Singapore/the United States of America or Canada, then there is no direct registration pathway.
You can apply to AHPRA under the OBA pathway , and you will have to pass NCLEX and OSCE exams to obtain your nursing license in Australia.
CGFNS assesses each application individually and most applicants receive an outcome within 30 days provided that the candidate has submitted all the documents requested.
You must be able to provide evidence that you have practiced nursing for at least 2 years (2500 hrs) in the last five years after you obtained your nursing license in your home country. The experience in your home country and current country in total should include 2500 hrs. Please refer to the other eligibility criteria mentioned above.
