About the Service

To work as a Registered Nurse in Canada, internationally educated nurses must undergo a multi-stage registration and assessment process governed by Canadian nursing regulatory authorities. This includes credential verification through the National Nursing Assessment Service (NNAS), meeting English language proficiency requirements, and passing the NCLEX-RN examination.

The registration process can be complex and varies slightly between provinces, but all applicants must demonstrate that their nursing education and experience meet Canadian standards. Most nurses will also need to apply to a provincial regulatory body such as the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO), British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM), or College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).

We provide end-to-end support throughout this entire journey — from NNAS application assistance and documentation guidance, to NCLEX coaching and help with provincial regulatory body applications. Our team has years of experience and has helped many international nurses successfully register and start working in Canada as licensed RNs.

Once registered in Canada, nurses may also become eligible to apply for Permanent Residency (PR) through various immigration programs such as Express Entry, PNP, or RNIP, creating a pathway to long-term settlement in the country.
